  • 4 eggs
  • 12 oz ground meat (3 oz per egg)
  • salt, pepper & paprika to taste
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 8 slices of bacon

How To Make It

Step 1:

  • Boil your eggs: Place your eggs in a single layer on the bottom of your pot and cover with cold water. The water should be about an inch or so higher than the eggs. Cover the pot with a lid. Over high heat, bring your eggs to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and let stand in water for 10-12 minutes for large eggs. Reduce the time slightly for smaller eggs and increase the standing time for extra-large eggs. Drain water and immediately run cold water over the eggs until cooled. Rapid cooling helps prevent a green ring from forming around the yolks.

Step 2:

  • Peel the eggs and set them aside for now. Season the ground meat with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the BBQ sauce, mustard, and minced garlic, and mix well.

Step 3:

  • Take about 3 oz of meat per egg and shape it around the peeled egg. Wrap 2 slices of bacon around the ground meat and stick a wooden skewer through it. Repeat with the rest of the eggs.

Step 4:

  • Place the skewers on the grill over medium heat (around 275°F). Cook for 20-30 minutes, making sure to regularly rotate the skewers. Remove once the bacon and burger is cooked to your desired doneness.
