Folks, hold on to your taste buds because we’ve got a wild ride ahead! Pulled pork and BBQ sauce, the Bonnie and Clyde of flavors, are finally breaking free from their humdrum existence between two boring buns and coleslaw. It’s time for this juicy pair to unleash their full potential and become the hot new appetizer in town! Introducing Pulled Pork and Pull-Apart Bread, a union of melted cheese, tangy sauce, and tender pork that’ll leave your taste buds doing the cha-cha!

  • 2¾ cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1⅓ cups Greek yogurt
  • 12 oz pulled pork
  • ½ yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1¼ cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped chives
  • 1¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • Chives
  • BBQ sauce
  • Loaf pan

How To Make It

Step 1:

  • For the dough, combine the flour and baking powder, then stir in the Greek yogurt. Use a hand mixer and mix until well combined (pic 2). Knead the mixture by hand until a smooth dough forms (pic 3), cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rest in a warm place for 20 minutes.

Step 2:

  • While the dough is resting, combine the pulled pork, chopped bell peppers, shredded cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and chives. Once the dough is ready, preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a loaf pan.

Step 3:

  • On a floured surface, roll the dough out into a rectangle that is approximately 18 x 12 inches. Cut the dough into 18 equally-sized pieces.

Step 4:

  • Spoon the pulled pork filling onto each section, and sprinkle 1 cup of the shredded mozzarella over the individual sections of dough.

Step 5:

  • Use a spatula and stack 3 slices of the dough on top of each other. Then, position the greased loaf pan vertically and stack the covered pieces of dough inside.

Step 6:

  • Flip the loaf pan over to its normal horizontal position and sprinkle the remainder of the mozzarella on top. Transfer the loaf pan to the smoker or oven and cook at 325°F for 45 minutes until golden brown. Carefully remove the pulled pork pull-apart bread from the loaf pan and sprinkle chopped chives on top.

NOTE: As long as your pan is well greased the bread should come out easily
